Our Process
01.
Initial Contact
Before the session, consultation with the client to understand their needs, preferences, and objectives. This is an opportunity to discuss the type of photography, desired style, location, and any specific requests or ideas.
Based on the client's requirements, the photographer may scout locations, arrange props or equipment, and determine the best time of day for lighting conditions if shooting outdoors.
02.
Session
Depending on the style of the session, the photographer may guide the client on poses, expressions, and positioning. They may provide instructions and suggestions to help create flattering and visually appealing compositions.
The photographer may experiment with different angles, perspectives, and compositions to create a variety of shots. They may also incorporate different backgrounds, props, or lighting setups to add visual interest.
03.
Post-Process
After the session, the photographer selects the best images from the captured shots. They may then perform post-processing tasks such as color correction, exposure adjustments, retouching, and cropping. This step aims to enhance the final images and achieve the desired aesthetic.
04.
Delivery
Once the post-processing is complete, the photographer delivers the final images to the client with a personal online gallery link.
The link is convenience to view the images and make selections for the final collection delivery.
Print Selection and framing is offered through a professional high quality photo lab for additional fees.
The lab processes your order and print the images using their professional-grade equipment and high-quality materials. Skilled technicians will ensure color accuracy, sharpness, and overall print quality through careful calibration and quality control measures. This is a quality that local big box vendors cannot provide.
FAQ
How many pictures will we receive?
Ah, the burning question! We understand the anticipation of receiving your stunning photographs. The number of photos you'll receive depends on various factors, such as the duration of the session, the type of session (adventure, event, or fun), and the specific package you choose.
How should we dress for our family session?
When it comes to family photos, choosing the right attire can play a significant role in creating a cohesive and visually appealing look. Here are some general guidelines to help you dress for a family photoshoot:
Coordinate, but don't match: Instead of everyone wearing the exact same outfit, aim for coordinated looks that complement each other. Choose a color palette or a theme that ties the outfits together without being overly uniform. This adds visual interest and allows each family member's personality to shine.
Consider the location and style: Think about the location and style of the photoshoot when selecting outfits. For a casual outdoor session, opt for comfortable, relaxed attire. If it's a more formal setting, such as a studio shoot, you might want to dress up a bit more. The clothing should suit the overall mood and theme of the photos.
Avoid large logos or busy patterns: Large logos or busy patterns can be distracting in photos. Opt for solid colors or subtle patterns that won't overpower the image. Solids, stripes, or small-scale prints tend to work well.
Stick to a timeless look: While it can be tempting to follow the latest fashion trends, remember that these photos will be cherished for years to come. Choose clothing styles that have a timeless appeal, so they won't feel dated when you look back at them in the future.
Dress comfortably: It's important for everyone to feel comfortable in their outfits. Ensure that clothing fits well, allows for movement, and doesn't cause any discomfort. When people are at ease, it reflects in their expressions and body language, resulting in more natural-looking photos.
Pay attention to color harmony: Consider the colors that flatter your family members' skin tones and hair colors. Harmonizing colors can create a visually pleasing composition. You can also use contrasting colors strategically to add interest and make certain individuals stand out.
Accessorize thoughtfully: Accessories can add personality and visual flair to your outfits.
What’s the best time to have a session with a newborn?
To capture that newborn look, it is best to have the session up to ten days after birth.
We don’t feel very confident in front of the camera, is that ok?
Absolutely! It's perfectly normal to feel a bit self-conscious or unsure when facing the camera. Many people feel this way, even those who have had multiple photography sessions before. We understand this and can help create a comfortable and relaxed environment to bring out your natural self.
Here are a few tips to help you feel more at ease during your photography session:
1. Let us know about your concerns and any specific insecurities you may have. We can offer guidance, provide reassurance, and tailor the session to accommodate your comfort level.
2. Meeting before the session or having a consultation can help establish a connection and build trust, which can contribute to a more relaxed experience.
3. Practice posing and expressions: Spend some time practicing different poses and expressions in front of a mirror. Experiment with various angles, tilts of the head, and smiles. This can help you become more familiar with your own unique features and find poses that make you feel confident. Ask us for guidance.
4. We will suggest poses, provide tips on body language, and help you find the most flattering angles. Trusting our expertise can help you feel more confident in front of the camera.
5. Focus on the experience, not just the outcome: Instead of putting excessive pressure on yourself to look perfect in every photo, try to focus on enjoying the experience. Photography sessions can be fun and memorable moments. Embrace the process and allow yourself to relax and have a good time. Genuine emotions and expressions often make for the best photographs.
6. Bring a friend or loved one: If having someone you trust by your side helps you feel more comfortable, consider bringing a friend or family member to the session. Their presence can provide support and encouragement.
Remember we are skilled at capturing the best version of their subjects, even if they initially feel unsure or self-conscious. We try to create a relaxed atmosphere and guide you through the process to capture authentic and beautiful images.
